Required materials: • Yarn: I used Alize Cotton Gold (100 g – 3.53 Oz, 330 mt – 361 yds): some black for head, brown for body, orange, red for eyes, cream color for wings) • Hook – 1.5 mm (but you can take bigger hook) • Safety eyes (2pcs) 6 mm • Hollowfibre or polyfill stuffing • Stitch marker • Tapestry needle
Abbreviations: Rnd - round ch – chain mc – magic circle (magic ring) sc – single crochet inc – increase FLO – front loops only dec – decrease st - stitch sl st – slip stitch sl st dec – slip stitch decrease […]– work instruction within the brackets as many times as directed
This was the first pattern I've ever bought, I was a little scared that the pattern would skip important parts but i can see this isn't the case. So far I'm loving this pattern. The reason i bought it was because my aunt asked if i could crochet a preying mantis for her!
