The pattern is in English language, consists of 10 pages and has many helpful detailed photos and links to video with assembling the most difficult parts.
Size of the finished toy using required materials is about 8- 9 inches from nose to the tail.
Skills required: magic circle (or magic ring), crocheting in spiral, chain, single crochet, increase, invisible decrease, half- double crochet, half-double crochet decrease, also basic sewing
Required Materials: • Yarn – I used about 1 skein of Alize Cotton Gold (for tan Frenchie) #152, some black yarn, pale pink, dark gray and white. For White use just white yarn and some black for nose. For snout coloring I use black acrylic paints, thin brush and some water. There is also a video instruction in the pattern. • Hook – I use very small hook –1.5 or 1.75 mm to avoid gaps in my work. You can take bigger hook: depends on the yarn you will choose and that is comfortable for you to crochet with. • Safety eyes – 8mm-9mm diameter • Hollowfiber filler • Tapestry needle, scissors • Pins • Marker (I used the piece of yarn of another color)
This was the first pattern I've ever bought, I was a little scared that the pattern would skip important parts but i can see this isn't the case. So far I'm loving this pattern. The reason i bought it was because my aunt asked if i could crochet a preying mantis for her!
