This crochet pattern lets you make your own armadillo amigurumi with a segmented shell and recognizable shape.

Finished size: depends on yarn weight, but approximately 6 inches using the recommended materials.
Skill level: Intermediate — you should be comfortable with magic circle, increases, decreases, BLO/FLO techniques, half double crochet, and basic sewing.
Required materials:
- Yarn — I used Alize Cotton Gold: chocolate color for the body, beige for the shells, and some pink for embroidering the nose
- Hook — 1.75 mm
- Safety eyes — 8 mm diameter
- Hollowfibre stuffing
- Stitch marker, pins, tapestry needle
