The Giraffe Weevil from Madagascar has one of the most extraordinary silhouettes in the insect world — males have an incredibly elongated neck, which they use for fighting and rolling leaves into nests. It looks like something out of a fantasy novel, and it makes a cute amigurumi.

Skill level: Intermediate — you should be comfortable with magic circle, crocheting in a spiral, increases, invisible decreases, and basic sewing. The long neck is worked separately and attached.
